This Thursday at 6:00, we will be serving food at the Farmers Market at the Community Center. We will have walking tacos, nachos with all the fixings, and dessert for $8.00. While enjoying dinner, don't forget to purchase products such as eggs, baked goods, craft items, and meat from our vendors.

In today’s world, identity is a major issue. 🤔🫪

We often allow society’s standards and expectations to shape who we believe we are. But our true identity comes from the Father. He created each of us with purpose, intentionally in designing us with unique gifts, talents, and callings.
We are not carbon copies of anyone else. We are His workmanship, created by Him and for Him.

Our worth and identity are not determined by the opinions of others. Who we are is defined by who God says we are. His voice is the one that matters above all others. Our identity is found in Him and Him alone. ❤️

TUFF Bags Volunteer of the Month for June is Kelly Monigold!

* Kelly has been volunteering with us for 7 months.

* Her daughter's boyfriend signed up to volunteer with us through his employer and invited Kelly to join them. Since that first time, she has become quite a familiar face around here and a core volunteer.

* Kelly says she loves talking with our other volunteers and has reconnected with several friends who she hasn't seen in a long time. (We absolutely love that!)

* When we asked why being involved in our community is important to her, Kelly said that after recovering from a major health scare in July of 2025, she decided she wanted to do something to help others. (What a gem!)

* Kelly's encouragement to anyone who hasn't volunteered with us before is that it is very rewarding and will bring you joy, as well as a sense of gratitude for your own life. She says it is 2 hours well spent.

Thank you Kelly, for giving your time, support and love to TUFF Bags. We appreciate you!

Tonight is the first farmers market! See John Griffith he will be raffling off tickets for this top notch seeder! We will be serving a summer type dinner of Chicken Salad on a croissant, Greek Pasta salad, and a dessert! The market starts at 6, food will be ready at 5. Dinner is an $8.00 donation.

Pressure canner testing today!

We are pleased to announce that our next canning class, scheduled for June 3rd at 12:30, is now open for registration. In collaboration with OSU Extension, this class will provide an updated and comprehensive overview of canning techniques. Participants will learn how to can chicken breast. For those new to canning, we assure you that canning meat is an accessible and easy-to-learn process. We hope you can join us.
