We had fun in cooking class shaking whipping cream in jars to make butter! Then colored it with beet root, pea flowers and turmeric making rainbow butter! We spread it on our homemade bread with homemade strawberry sauce. Yum!

Gatheringplace receives a $475,000 appropriation for their new facility

After a long wait, this funding along with the capital campaign and a BECU People Helping People award, construction for a permanent home for Gatheringplace will be able to start this Spring on property in the Port Townsend Business Park near Goodwill. While the funds will go a long way, additional community support is needed to complete the project fully.

Participants are very excited to have an expanded area for new activities, a great new layout for making dog biscuits, a dedicated art space and our organic gardens growing again.
