Our Story

The Treasure Coast Exotic Bird Club was formed in the Spring of 1989 by a small group of people with an interest in exotic birds. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization with about 100 members who own birds ranging from a single cockatiel to members who own 100+ birds from the tiniest finches to the largest macaws. The club’s missions are:

  • to educate and inform the public about the care and treatment of birds

  • to provide financial support to organizations that advocate fair and humane treatment of exotic birds

  • to provide financial support to those that contribute to medical advancement in avian research
