Save Martin county Florida - Has posted some things which if viewed from the perspective intended by the author, would be derogatory. These "things" are well known through out the county.
I assume readers will be able to discern from my response the content originally posted .
My Response :
FYI:
1. Stuart Locals was purchased - specifically to stop a local unethical and aggressive DEVELOPER . Who was harassing long term , fixed income residents. The purchase was done to support our community and long before any consideration was given to running for Dist. 2 commissioner.
2. Re: Ferreira - I was employed by them, I left that company over a decade ago becuase of specific differences of opinions on business practices. We have had 0 dealings since. So, what is your point? I am guessing we still would have issues, but it does not matter becuase It has been a decade.
3. I do contract with FPL. We also contract with the DOT on occasion and Space X As well as other power companies. We have 0 impact on FPL's decision process or direction.
I assume you buy power - does that make you complicit in a power companies business dealings?
Self Congratulation ? I hardly think there is a reason to congratulate myself in subjecting my self to comments like these. However, I would like to know if you have a suggestion where I should post that I am a canidate in which you would not consider self congratulations? I guess you are correct, advertising ones candidacy is self promotion.
T shirts comparing one's self to the god father , in my opinion would be the same.

Yes, you met me. I felt it was congenial - I intend to remain professional in MY bid for District 2.
My reasons are as stated, to preserve the quality of life and give our residents a voice. My reasons for joining the race are not much different and certainly not an attack on my opponent. I would just like to have an opportunity to offer my service to my community. Unfortunately, we are both in same district and that is how it works.
May the best man win.
I also invited the person who posted to a conversation so we could collaborate on how best to serve our County and preserve our quality of life.
I sincerely hope they accept my offer.
