Grace Packs

We recently spent a lovely morning with Michael Stevenson and the CarMax CaresTeam for the team’s volunteer day at the Grace Packs pantry. They are a pretty amazing group and select a charity each month in which to volunteer to give back to the community.

When everyone was finished, there were 500 Grace Packs assembled and ready to be delivered into the hands of our students.

We are grateful to the CarMax CaresTeam, for choosing Grace Packs to donate their time, kindness and generosity for the grant they awarded us. Thank you! 💕

WOW, Riverland Sharing Table Club!!

Y’all showed up with an INSANE amount of food for Grace Packs! Not only did this incredible group come together to collect it all, but they even packed the Grace Packs AND included the cutest little treat bags! 🥹🎒🍬

Our kids are going to be SO stoked! What beautiful hearts y’all have! Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure our kids feel loved, supported, and extra special.

THIS is what community is all about! 🫶✨

Many thanks to the members of the Men’s Group of Faith Church PSL - Faith Congregational Church of Port St. Lucie. They had a gift card tree fundraiser to help local charities and Grace Packs was one of the recipients.

Our long-time volunteer and delivery friend, Tom Tolle, was instrumental in putting this event together and championing Grace Packs. Thank you Tom and all the members of Faith Church, for having a heart for our mission. Tom is pictured handing the check to Debby Molloy, our Grace Packs Pantry Coordinator.

Holy Family Catholic Church Quarters Auction

What a FUN night! 🪙💙 We are so incredibly blessed to be part of the annual Quarter Auction at Holy Family Catholic Church! Our Grace Packs carts were overflowing with donated food, PLUS generous monetary donations to help feed our kiddos. 🥹

If you have ever been to a quarters auction, you know it’s a hoot! Even our own Mary won our Grace Packs gift basket ♥️

Thank you, Holy Family, for loving on Grace Packs year after year. We had an absolute blast! 💙🛒❤️

Meet The Grace Packs Team At Manatee!

Here is a little something about our Grace Packers:

Last year, I asked Mrs. Soto who teaches the students in Middle School in the IND Unit, if she and her students would be interested in helping out with delivering our Grace Packs. She was happy to accept the responsibility, and I was so grateful for the support.

At Manatee Academy K8 we have a very large campus. The Grace Packs are hand delivered each Friday to the elementary students' homeroom. The students who receive the packs are appreciative and the students who deliver them are always having fun!

Mrs. Ramprasad, another school counselor in our Middle School, also helps with getting the Grace Packs to the students in middle school by calling them to her office at the end of the day on Fridays. Mrs Cleveland is the paraprofessional who helps out tremendously.

It takes a team to make Grace Packs work. I love that Manatee is able to be a part of the entire Grace Packs family throughout St. Lucie County. We are very fortunate to have a great little team here on our campus and a great big team with you all!!
