Julianna's first Stars & Stripes workday was a success. Sanding and painting existing instruments and installing a piano themed pathway were just a few things on her to do list. In a few weeks she will be constructing and installing interactive musical walls to comeplete the musical forest.
I know the guests at the Oxbow Eco-center will be thrilled to see the new set up.

We are so excited for Julianna as she reaches for AHG's highest award, the Stars & Stripes Award. Here is a message from her:

Hello, my name is Julianna and I am working on my Stars & Stripes project.

I will be creating a new musical forest for the Oxbow Eco Center to create a safe, fun place for children to learn about animals and the music they make in their environment.

I will be collecting donations for my project which has a budget of $800. If you would like to donate please sponsor a paver for $20.

If this is not possible for you I have an Amazon wishlist filled with items that I will use to create a sustainable, interactive music wall. Please consider buying something off of the list to show support.

One last option is to Zelle my mom at 786-554-4588.

The girls are selling note cards, $5 for a set of 3 cards with envelopes. All funds stay local to the troop. Find a troop member today, or stop by one of our troop meetings and pick up a set. Every September troops across the US celebrate AHG's anniverary (30 years this year) through serving with a National Day of Sercive. FL2545 met today to help our charter's goal of packing 500 shoes boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Today the girls assembled 500 hygeine kits, made 200 game bags(tiddly winks/tic tac toe combo), rolled 500 toothbrush/washcloth bundles, made 40 jump ropes, and assembled the 500 boxes. Whew. The girls worked very hard!
In October the church will fill the boxes with these items plus additional items.

Hey!!! the girls going to camp are doing 1 more fundraiser. You MUST show the flier if dining in/ordering curbside.

The girls will be outfront with home made baked goods- cookies, brownies, muffins, and rice krispies. Some gluten free too!

The troop would like to extend a BIG thank you to Grace Emmanuel Church for being our Charter Organization. The girls made thank you cards last night to show our appreciation. 8 years going strong of troop FL2545 building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. We can't do it without Grace Emmanuel!

Also, a big thanks to all the donations for Julianna's dog supply drive. She collected over 160 food and supply items for Delilah's Second Chance rescue.

Julianna, one of our Patriots, is hosting a supply drive for her Abigail Adams Award. This is the 2nd highest award in AHG.
She is collecting dog supplies for Delilah's Second Chance Rescue, a place dear to her heart where she adopted her dog.

If you would like to donate supplies you can give them to any troop member or bring them to a troop meeting. If you have questions, feel free to send us a message.
