We are honored to be recognized by the St. Lucie County Fire District and the Big Heart Brigade of The Treasure Coast at their most recent Fire Board meeting for our continued commitment to the community.

Each year, HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital donates hundreds of turkeys, helping thousands of local families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal filled with hope, comfort, and care. This recognition reflects the compassion of our colleagues and the power of strong community partnerships.

Thank you to the St. Lucie County Fire District and Big Heart Brigade for all you do and for allowing us to stand alongside you in serving the Treasure Coast inside the hospital and beyond our walls.

🚒 Coming to the Rescue! The Indian River Big Heart Brigade made their annual fire engine visit to the Hibiscus Children's Center, delivering 15 turkeys and dry goods. Thanks to their generosity, the kids enjoyed a warm and delicious Thanksgiving dinner!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our local Publix stores at Sabal Palm Plaza (Justin Yerk), Prima Vista Crossing (Stephen Lopez), St. Lucie West (Russell Edinger), St. Andrews (James Bower), and Verano (John McKnight) for their continued partnership over the years. Thanks to your ongoing support, we have been able to feed thousands of residents in St. Lucie County year after year.

We’re excited to share the rest of the photos from a week filled with hard work, teamwork, and heart.

A huge thank-you to all of our volunteers—those who were with us throughout the week and those who came in on Thanksgiving Day—to make sure members of our community received a hot meal cooked with love. Your dedication is what keeps this tradition alive.

We also want to extend another heartfelt thank-you to our generous sponsors.

This year, we cooked 280 turkeys, delivered 1,700 meals, and provided 100 cooked and pulled turkeys to Mustard Seed for their Thanksgiving feast.

We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.

We had a great turnout at our annual retiree breakfast sponsored by the Big Heart Brigade, St. Lucie County Fire District, and St. Lucie County Firefighters.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this event together. We’re grateful for the retirees who paved the way and set the standard of service and giving—we were proud to honor them today.

With your support, the Treasure Coast Big Heart Brigade made a huge impact this year, delivering over 400 turkeys with sides to families in Indian River County and cooking over 250 turkeys to serve more than 3,500 hot meals in St. Lucie County.
