Miss Kitty and Baby are slowly starting to come out a little more, but they are still confused about their recent life changes ❤️‍🩹

These girls are 8.5 years old and came to us recently when their mom’s medical issues made it impossible to care for them any longer. Owner surrenders where the animals were loved and wanted are so hard. They don’t understand what happened and clearly miss their mom.

Miss Kitty and Baby were declawed in their front paws as kittens if you or you someone you know prefers that. They received annual vaccinations and vet care throughout their lives and are current on everything.

These two are not bonded and can be adopted separately or together. They will need some time to adjust in their new home, but are normally friendly and affectionate when they are comfortable. The girls have been around other cats, dogs, and children and no problems at all.

Victoria is ready to find her home 🏠

Victoria is the last of Buttercup’s babies. If you remember, Buttercup was left outside when her owner moved away. The owner also left Milky Way and Twix. None of the cats were spayed and all 3 had kittens. In all there were eleven babies!

Buttercup was found last as she went into protection mode with her babies. Victoria and her siblings came in when they were about 6 weeks old and had likely never seen people before that.

Victoria was slow to trust, understandably, and has now realized not all people are bad! She is very food and treat motivated and if you have a churu or wet food, she will run right over! She allows us to pick her up and hug her and kiss her and she doesn’t even flinch!

Victoria will need a little time to learn her new family is safe and we think she would do great with another kitten or young cat to guide her. She comes up to see people, but usually not close enough to be picked up unless food is involved 😹

Miss Gwen is also 4 months old and ready to find her 🏡

Gwen is a sister to Raven and Ranger and was the most social when we got them from their colony. As a tiny kitten, she would follow her caretaker around the yard and want picked up and carried 💕

She is the same way with her foster mom - she runs right up to be held and enjoys being carried like a baby.

Gwen is a smart girl and she takes a little bit to warm up to new people. Once she knows you are a safe person, she will happily be your baby 💖

Gwen has the most beautiful little face and if she looks a little judgy - she absolutely is 😹 Once you are approved by her though, her little face softens and you get all the love she has to offer!

Ranger is 4 months old and ready to find his home 🏠

He was trapped at a local colony (actually just picked up and put in a carrier) at the end of June and is adjusting very well to life inside.

Ranger is very playful and would love a home with another young cat or kitten to play with. He will come right up to you and let you hold him and doesn’t mind getting his nails done 💅

Ranger has a ginger hue over his gorgeous tabby stripes and is such a handsome boy 💙

Please welcome Coco to Five Friends Animal Rescue. He is the sweetest boy he is a shih tzu Yorkie mix, approximately 6 years of age and I'm going to say he weighs between 15 and 17 lb.

Coco just came to our rescue today. He's scheduled to get groomed at the wonderful Spa 4 Paws LLC on Saturday we will also schedule him for his neuter, vetting and a dental.

Stay tuned for more updates on Coco, especially after his groom on Saturday!

Micah’s test results are in and overall it’s very good news 📰

Micah is negative for heartworms and feline leukemia ✅

Her f***l was negative ✅

Micah’s urinalysis came back perfect - no crystals, white blood cells, bacteria, or anything else weird ✅

Her blood CBC was perfect ✅

Micah did come back positive for FIV which is very common in outside cats. All this means is her immune system is slightly compromised. Most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives - especially when they are safe inside.

Cats with FIV can live safely with cats who do not have it. It is spread through very deep bites like the kind that come from unfixed cats fighting or mating. Micah is a peaceful lady and other cats don’t bother her 🖤

Micah was spayed and RTF by the county shelter in 2020 when she was a year old. She is 7 now and recently showed up to a local colony.

She did an amazing job surviving on her own all of that time and now it’s her turn to find a loving home 🏡

Micah is friendly, gentle, calm, and loves being pet and brushed. She would make a great companion for anyone needing a new best friend 🖤

Yoda and Charger went home sweet home together from Pet Supermarket in Merritt Island 🏡

Yoda was so happy to have a mom she wouldn’t leave her lap! Charger was busy exploring but they were all cuddled up together this morning 🥹
