Tradin’ Post Employee Emergency Relief Fund
The Citizens of Gulf County Recovery Team (CGCRT) was asked to establish a tax-deductible fund at Centennial Bank to help those who lost their jobs after the Trading Post Fire. There are 27 permanent full and part-time employees out of work, through no fault of their own at the worst time of year to be unemployed in Gulf County.
CGCRT will be using 100 % of the funds donated for the employees. In addition, we will offer support for connecting the employees with other agencies that provide additional resources to help until they can find employment or obtain unemployment benefits.
Our policy is to use 100% of donated funds for the employees’ benefit and we pay bills directly to the vendor (such as the Landlord (rent), Power Company, Water Company (utilities), Insurance Company etc. Funds will be allocated based on average weekly/monthly salaries and need.
We anticipate this assistance will be needed for up to 2 months.
Tax exempt donations may be made by mailing checks made out to
Tradin Post Employee Emergency Relief Fund or directly to CGCRT with directions that the donation be used for this fund
Mailing Address is:
Citizens of Gulf County Recovery Team, P. O. Box 1104, PSJ 32457 Or
The donation checks can also be dropped off at Centennial Bank. Make sure you designate the donation for this group and this fundraiser. All donations to this fund are tax deductible. If you would like a tax deduction letter, Please email us at [email protected] with a copy of your deposit slip.
All donations are greatly appreciated to help our local folks out for this crisis in their lives. They are out of work and bills are still coming in!!!!
Thank you for Caring!!!!!
