🎉 Happy Birthday, Trish Tapper Warriner! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating the founder of the Junior Service League of Port St. Joe and thanking her for the vision and leadership that helped get our organization started.

We are also grateful for the continued support of the George G. & Amelia G. Tapper Foundation, which helps make so much of our community work possible.

Congratulations to Severa Haney 😃 She is our JSL Senior Scholarship Award winner from Wewahitchka High School! Severa will be attending Wallace Community College to pursue a career in nursing and play softball. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the great things you accomplish. Congrats!! 🎓

Congrats to Dru Flowers of Port St. Joe Junior Senior High! He was the recipient of the 2026 JSL Senior Scholarship Award for PSJ High. Dru will be heading to USF to study Entrepreneurship. We are so excited for him and wish him all the best on his journey 😃

Congratulations to Celie White, recipient of the 2026 Junior Service League Senior Scholarship for homeschool/umbrella! Celie will be attending Troy University this fall and plans to major in education.

We are proud to support local students as they take the next step toward their future and cannot wait to see all Celie accomplishes. 🎓

This week, members of the Junior Service League of Port St. Joe came together to assemble 166 self care kits for students at Port St. Joe Junior Senior High and Wewahitchka High School.

Each kit included everyday essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, hairbrushes, and other personal care items for both boys and girls. The kits were divided evenly between the two schools to help support local students in our community.

We are so thankful of the women who helped organize, pack, and deliver these bags and grateful for the opportunity to make a small difference in the lives of local students. 💙

We are incredibly grateful to the George G. & Amelia G. Tapper Foundation for supporting the Junior Service League of Port St. Joe since 1996!!

Their generosity over the years has made a lasting impact on our community. This year’s gift supports one of our most meaningful traditions, the annual Kids Shopping Trip, where we help local elementary students in Port St. Joe and Wewahitchka shop for clothes, shoes, and other essentials before the school year begins.

This program means so much to the children and families we serve, and we are thankful for community partners like the Tapper Foundation who continue to believe in our mission and help us make a difference year after year.

What a great way to wrap up another wonderful year with the Junior Service League of Port St. Joe. Before we take a little summer break and gear back up in August, our members gathered for one final meeting for business and fun!

We had a great time painting with Valerie from Valerie Johnson Designs and celebrating another successful year of serving our community.

We were also honored to present our very first Servant’s Heart Award to Ginny Bacon for her hard work, dedication, and always going above and beyond for JSL and our community. Her servant heart truly represents what this organization is all about.

Today was a very special day for the Junior Service League of Port St Joe. We were honored to present the final $5,000 check toward our $50,000 commitment to the Ascension Sacred Heart Gulf Women’s Diagnostic Center.

Projects like this are exactly why JSL exists. Supporting women’s health close to home and helping provide access to important diagnostic services for our community is something we are incredibly proud to be part of.

Thank you to everyone who supports our events, fundraisers, and mission throughout the year. Your support helps make moments like this possible. 💕

This weekend, several of our JSL members attended the JSL Florida Annual Convention in New Port Richey. They are coming back with fresh ideas for projects and fundraisers to support our community!

We appreciate these awesome ladies for representing JSL of Port St Joe.

Big Thank You post coming…

Whale of a Sale takes a lot of hands, and we are so grateful for every single person and group who showed up, pitched in, and helped make it happen. A special thank you to our amazing Junior Service League volunteers who spent countless hours sorting, organizing, setting up, and doing whatever was needed to bring this event together.

A big thank you to the students from Faith Christian School for your help. You all made a huge difference.

Thank you to Officer Wes and team at Gulf Correctional Institution for helping move donations out of the storage units.

We are so appreciative of the City of Port St. Joe - City Hall for providing the Centennial Building. It helps us put all proceeds back into the community.

Thank you to Walter Green Boutique for loaning the clothing racks. They helped us keep everything organized and ready for shoppers.

And thank you to Larry at Sunny Day Self Storage for the box truck and for helping with so many trips loading and unloading. We could not have done that part without you.

This event is a true team effort, and it shows what this community can do when we all come together.

We are so thankful for each of you and for helping us support the Ascension Sacred Heart Gulf Women’s Diagnostic Center! 💙
