We're thrilled to announce the return of our Cookie Dough Fundraiser, running from 11/8/2024 to 11/21/2024! 🍪

If you'd like to order, please reach out to one of our parents or contact the center at 850.229.6415 to purchase a tub (or ten!). Each tub is 2.25 lbs for $22 and can be kept frozen for up to a year, ready to bake anytime!

From Gulf County Chamber of Commerce- New Updates for Hurricane Helene:

Gulf County Commissioners issued mandatory evacuations for all of Indian Pass, Cape San Blas, Simmons Bayou, and Oak Grove.

All RV parks in Gulf County south of the Intracoastal Waterway are under mandatory evacuation. A voluntary evacuation order was issued for all low-lying areas and mobile homes within all of Gulf County.

Anyone in the mandatory evacuation areas, or who is voluntarily evacuating, must be out of the area by 5:00 PM today.

Gulf County Evacuation Routes, Zones & Shelter

Gulf County has designated the following emergency shelters for use during severe weather events:

Honeyville Community Center
240 Honeyville Park Dr, Wewahitchka
Opens at 8:00 AM ET for those who have no where else to go.
Bring your own supplies (food, bedding, medicine, etc.)
& NO pets allowed.

To all of NFCD's children, families, and staff, NOW is the time to PREPARE—NOT PANIC. Make sure your emergency supplies are set, you have fuel, and your generators are prepped. We have a few days now to get ready. Let's be prepared!

NFCD's management team is working with each county's local school district and emergency management. Please ensure that no loose items are in your yard, as well as the centers.

Please stay tuned. We will monitor the track of the storm conditions and update you as it progresses and we learn new information.

Notice of Closure: TUESDAY, September 10th - CLOSED

In recognition of respect of the Gainer Family, and events in Honor of Chance Gainer at PSJ High School, North Florida Child Development- Port St Joe and North Florida Child Development - Wewahitchka will be closed on Tuesday, September 10th.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Gainer family. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Centers will resume on Wednesday at our regular time.
