Rescue A Dog

Our mission is to save as many homeless dogs as possible from euthanasia. We will strive to provide a temporary safe haven and find permanent homes.

We are a group of like-minded individuals that have spent their time trying to make a difference in the life of a dog. We have all volunteered in shelters in the past and have knowledge of working with and caring for dogs. All of us are "foster failures" meaning that we have officially adopted dogs that we set out to initially foster only. We have heard stories of animal abuse and have actively st

epped in to stop it. Deep inside each one of us is the need to help an animal that can not speak for themselves. We believe that we can make a difference in the life of a dog. Rescuing dogs is our focus but I must say that we are also dedicated to teaching the next generation after all they are the ones that have to decide to make a change in this world to treat animals with the care and respect that they deserve. Our children are the future and we must make sure that they grow up with strong convictions and not tolerate any form of animal abuse.

Update. It looks like the sister of the lady who passed away is trying to get Prince back. We will help reunite the family anyway we can. We have been speaking to the sister and there are some legal issues with the shelter. If we have to take possession first we will do that and give him back to his family. Glad he will be reunited with family. Port richey, fl. Anyone out there wiling to foster this little old man? He’s 8 pounds and 13 years old. The shelter is asking if we can pull him to get him out of that scary environment. He is a long haired chihuahua that could have many more years of life left to live. We have a couple that have lived to 20 years old.

Adopted- Serengeti has arrived, and is ready to find her forever home. Approximately 8 months old and weighing 23 pounds. We suspect she is a cross between a Scottish Terrier and a West Highland White Terrier. After a recent spaying procedure, she is now up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped.
