Just putting this out into the universe again. We have four cockatoos (one Moluccan and three umbrellas) who need new homes. If you or anyone else has ever wanted to provide a great home for a cockatoo, this is a great opportunity. You can visit the birds anytime - just make an appointment with me to ensure that I'll be around when you show up. The birds are located in Manchester. All of the birds are well socialized and all are handleable to some extent. They take a little coaxing to step up for strangers, but they do get there eventually.

These days, we haven’t been taking in many new birds. In fact, we’ve had to turn away more than we’re able to help. But every now and then, there’s an exception. Poco (also known as Pocahontas) is one of those. She comes to us from a longtime, much-loved customer of Port Orchard Parrots Plus, and when she needed help, we knew we had to say yes.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Justin and Allyssa Herrick for their great work refurbishing some of the cages that were donated to Port Orchard Parrot Rescue & Sanctuary, and for donating the proceeds from the sale of those cages.
