There’s sure to be a swashbuckling good time with a possible treasure chest for the winner. Added gold coins (proceeds) to benefit aged pirates (local veterans) of the local area via the Marine Corps League!

Last weekend Lt Governor Jay Collins came to AmVets Post 2 in Edgewater to visit, speak to and answer questions from our local Veterans.

He and Sheriff Mike Chitwood presented 10 awards.

Three members of our detachment received awards: Commandant David Owen, VAVS Officer Rolf Mattar, and Adjutant Sara Owen.

Thank you AmVets Post 2 and all that helped in hosting this amazing event!
