Rescue A Life Rescue A Life is dedicated to reducing the number of animals needlessly destroyed at our local shelters. Rescue A Life is a non profit organization (501c3)

RESCUE A LIFE is a Florida non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization formed by individuals who have devoted years caring for the abandoned and unwanted. Since 2001, more than two-dozen colonies of free-roaming cats and kittens have been cared for and protected throughout Volusia County's commercial areas. Partaking in the TNR program has proven successful in decreasing the numbers of births within the surrounding areas of the colonies and neighborhoods, as well as shelter intake. In addition to feeding hundreds daily, a safe haven, rescue and adoption program is provided for those who have been discarded, injured or abused. Once their specific needs have been met, they are placed up for adoption in search of a forever loving family or companion, by way of a thorough application and screening process.
