The Ladies of the Port O’ Connor Community Service Club proudly announce our most recent Service Project”- “Emergency First Aid Stations”!! The Stations have been installed at the POC Community Center, the POC Community Center Pavilion, and the POC Service Club’s Donation Center, and are ready for use!! The Stations consist of AED’s (Automated External Defibrillators), “Stop The Bleed Kits”, and “First Aid Kits”. The POC Community Center fortunately already had an AED, and with the additional equipment there and at the other locations, the Club is aiming to enhance the safety and wellbeing of all who utilize these public facilities!! The Service Club hopes that the Stations never need to be used, but they will be there just in case!! The Club thanks the Calhoun County Maintenance Department for installing the equipment, and thanks all who continue to support the Club’s many Fundraising efforts, enabling us continue doing great Service Projects for the POC Community!!❤️❤️
