Menhaden feed the coast. Help keep more of them in the water.
Striped bass, ospreys, tuna and whales all eat menhaden, also called bunker. This November, fisheries managers will decide how many can be caught along the entire Atlantic coast. That catch limit, called the TAC, is a major decision for our coastal food web, particularly when there is evidence there are not enough menhaden being left.

Our ask: cut the coastwide catch limit by at least 40%, starting in 2027, and leave more food in the water.
