Tri-State Railway Preservation Society

Tri-State Railway Preservation Society We are a 501c3 non-profit organization which preserves railroad artifacts from the tri-state area. Our artifacts are displayed in our museum on 134 Pike street.

Our organization preserves papers, tools, lanterns, uniforms and other historical items that depict life on the railroads that traversed the tri state area of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania from the New York and Erie to todays MTA. Our members are all volunteer and have a broad interest in railroading in the Port Jervis area. Some worked for the railroad or had family who did while others j

ust have a fond interest in railroad history. We hold an annual model train show in the fall to raise money which maintains the museum. There are many more things about to happen in Port Jervis which will further our cause. Stay tuned.
