On September 26, 2022 Blue Water Garden Club was awarded the 2022 Spirit of Port Huron Civic Award at a special Port Huron City Council Spirit of Port Huron Awards Ceremony. We were honored with this award for all of our projects throughout the community over the years. Some of those projects include creating a Biblical herb garden at St. Paul Lutheran Church, care and clean up of the Sanborn Nature Area, teaching a junior gardening class to fourth graders at local elementary schools, holding juried flower shows held throughout the city, and our annual flower sale project. We were also recognized for one of our favorite projects...creating, planting, and maintaining flower beds in Pine Grove Park. We have enjoyed helping to beautify Port Huron all of these years!!
