On May 6, there will be important elections taking place. Here are the key items on the ballot:

- Yale Public Schools Sinking Fund Millage Renewal (Brockway Township, Clyde Township (Precinct 2), Emmett Township, Grant Township, Greenwood Township, Lynn Township, Riley Township, Wales Township, Yale City)
- Kenockee Township Road Improvement Millage
- Algonac Community Schools Operating Millage (Algonac City, Clay Township (Precincts 1, 4, 5), Ira Township (Precinct 2))

Just posted a reminder to check out the 9 candidates running for state representative and other local offices now that you can officially view the ballot on Michigan’s secretary of state’s website. But Facebook found it to be inappropriate. Clearly Facebook doesn’t want you to come and vote during the Primary Election.
