Kids Coalition Against Hunger packaged 50,000 Meals in Port Huron at Colonial Woods Church. Thank you to John C. Romine , Barry Baldwin and Patrick Patterson for planning this event over the last year. We would meet once a month and discuss the logistics and ex*****on of today's event. It went Fantastic. Thank you to BWROC for setting up last night. I also want to thank Kelley Parise , Laura Bianco , Francine Kanalos and CC for making the drive to help today. Oh what an AMAZING day!

It was an exciting day here at Colonial Woods Missionary Church.
We packaged 50,000 meals within 2 hours with our amazing volunteers! Thank you all, you are such a blessing!!

We are only a week away from our Event on November 28th. We can still use plenty of volunteers from 9:00 until noon at Colonial Woods Missionary Church in Port Huron. Love you have you come and join us or share this event with those who love to volunteer and give of themselves.

Thank you to the 300 plus volunteers that came out to package 58,104 meals. It was so great to see so many people and so many youth having fun volunteering. We thank Lori Stillwell from Kids Coalition Against Hunger, Barry Baldwin and John C. Romine for putting hours and hours into this event. We also would like to thank Patrick Patterson , Heidi Gordon-Lilly and Heather Roelant for an awesome committee. Our surprise guests today from 3 CKI Alumni Kristy Godley , John Deutschman and Ben Strandskov. Always a shout out to Kelley Parise for eagerly tagging along and throwing 50lb bags like a champ. Rick & Diane Collins, Kim Baldwin, Cindy Baldwin & Trish Defrain for working check in and aligning volunteers in to groups.
Also a special shout out to BWROC (Blue Water Recovery & Outreach Center) & Coastguard Reserves volunteers that came Friday night to help setup and volunteer on Saturday morning!
We can’t forget to thank our host for this event, Colonial Woods Missionary Church! The staff and church have been spectacular with support and opening up their facility. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

Happy New Year!
Gee, we are only a few days away (11 days from this posting) before our event on January 14th. We are still in need of volunteers to pull this off in a timely manner. If you haven’t yet would you consider joining us for a hour or 2 and engage with others for this humanitarian relief effort? Also would you share this post with others who may wish to start the year off on a positive note knowing they can have an opportunity to serve someone else less fortunate?
