Difference Makers Mentoring Our Mission is to provide Services, Training and Hope to at-risk teens; through Education, Mentoring, and Local support programs.

Our Program: APG • The Alternative Peer Group
This group is exactly as it states: An alternative peer group. The studies of peer influence all fall into a similar camp around the idea that people strive to be like those with which they surround themselves. People seek out others that they admire to befriend and tend to adopt each other’s values. This can have both positive and negative influence

based upon the peers that have been identified for a friend group. Our goal is to lead them to the positive. This model was created to address the emotional, psychological, spiritual and social needs of teens with substance abuse issues. This unique model integrates the important peer connection with sound clinical practice through intervention, support, education, accountability and family involvement.

Our mentors will change the odds! Difference Makers Mentoring program will be a powerful network of volunteer peer leaders who actively educate and empower others to support our mission. Going into schools to promote prevention through education and awareness. We will share our experiences, strength and hope with those at risk youth who may be struggling.
