Woman’s Life Chapter 883 Algonac, Michigan, held an Old Bag Sale at the Clay Park Crafter and Vendor Show. Members collected gently used bags, wallets and scarves, which were offered at greatly reduced prices. Thanks to the community support—and Matching Funds from Woman’s Life—the sale raised $474 for Chapter 883’s treasury. These funds will help the chapter support charitable causes throughout the year.

Life insurance is often thought of as income replacement, but it could also be considered care replacement.

It’s estimated that unpaid caregivers spend an average of 20 hours a week helping disabled or elderly family members with tasks of daily living. Replacing that care with paid help could cost thousands of dollars a month.

When a caregiver passes away, families often face financial and relational hardship to fill in the care gaps left behind.

With a financial resource like life insurance available, the transition doesn’t have to be as difficult.

Small acts can make a big impact! This Impact Team from Indianapolis used its seed money to purchase supplies for snack bags, then came together to pack each one with care. The bags will be distributed to people experiencing homelessness in their community—offering practical support and showing neighbors that they are not alone.

The unpaid caregiver is the unsung hero of the American household.

Most disabled, chronically ill or elderly people living at home receive care from an unpaid caregiver, like a spouse or family member. That caregiver helps with dressing, transfers, food preparation, transportation and other non-medical services necessary for daily living.

If that caregiver were to pass away, is the family prepared to replace that care? Are there funds available to hire services if another unpaid caregiver can’t step in to help?

Life insurance can be a financial resource to help families replace the services a caregiver provides. Talk to an advisor today to discuss your family’s needs.

Earlier this week, associates came together to pack "Blessing Bags" filled with goodies and letters of encouragement for educators at Roosevelt Elementary School in Michigan.

It was a small way to show our appreciation for the educators who make a big difference in the lives of their students.💜 Thank you, teachers, for all that you do!
