As many of you know from our May meeting, member Anna Kelb moved to Port Huron with her fiancé for his transitional year Residency at McLaren Port Huron. He recently matched to a hospital in Tampa Bay, Florida--so Anna is flying the nest! We will miss her smiles and her energy that she brings to all of our meetings!

We wish her good luck on her future endeavors! Come visit us soon!🥰

Join us this afternoon as we welcome our spotlight speaker, Samantha Jay, Director of Sales at the historic St. St Clair Inn 🌊

💼 What to know about Samantha:
Samantha Jay brings more than a decade of experience in hospitality sales, event strategy, and team leadership. She is known for her results-driven approach, strong client relationships, and passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences.

💜 Her NACW journey:
Samantha has been a dedicated member of NACW since 2017. She began her leadership journey on the Port Huron board as Hospitality Director, then advanced to Vice President, and ultimately served as President of the Port Huron Chapter.

During her presidency, she also served as an at-large member for NACW National and went on to complete a term as President of NACW National—a testament to her outstanding leadership and commitment to the organization.

Beyond her hospitality career:
Samantha is deeply involved in the volleyball community as a certified official with:

🏐 Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA)

🏐 Professional Association of Volleyball Officials (PAVO)

🏐 USA Volleyball (USAV)

Currently a USAV National-level official and National-level scorer, Samantha was awarded the Bronze Whistle Award in 2023 for finishing at the top of her Junior National certification class in Chicago, Illinois.

She also serves as Board Secretary for the East Side Volleyball Officials Association and previously played collegiate volleyball at Concordia University Ann Arbor.

🌟 Known for her leadership, attention to detail, and passion for both hospitality and athletics, Samantha brings excellence to everything she does—whether leading a team or officiating on the court.
