To help St. Clair County, Michigan, businesses (of all sizes) understand the changes for the Earned Sick Time Act (ESTA) passed by the Michigan Legislature and signed by the Governor last week, the EDA is hosting an informational webinar this Thursday, February 27 at 11:30 AM. Congratulations to Club Capri Restaurant, The Water Lady, Inc., Weekends, Mannina's Italian Restaurant, MSC Floors, Christopher's Flowers with Attitude, War Water Brewery/Distillery, Casey's, MMC, The Yale Hotel and Modern Tech Machining. EDA has administered nearly $600,000 in funding over the past year to help new and existing St. Clair County businesses and entrepreneurs. 😊💵

Huge Turnout! We are glad that so many area businesses attended EDA's informational program today about the 2025 Paid Leave Requirements and New Minimum Wage Laws. The legislative changes set to begin next year will greatly impact businesses of all sizes, and the EDA aims to ensure our region’s businesses are preparing for the new laws and reporting requirements.
