We are so grateful for the support of the Wyatt Walker Friendship Fund and Community Foundation of St. Clair County. This purchase of period hygiene products with money donated to us, will help eliminate period poverty for our students at Port Huron Northern, Holland Woods Middle School, and St. Clair County TEC for the next few months. Your generosity is improving attendance and allowing young women to feel acceptance and confidence.

As we celebrate World Menstrual Hygiene Day, we ask you to think of ways you can help menstruators everywhere. Contact your local representatives to demand funding for free period supplies in schools. Donate money or time to any of the organizations fighting for menstruators. Or simply talking about menstruation to fight the stigma!

How does Florida get a period hygiene bill before Michigan?!? Florida? The state where they are trying to pass a 'don't say period' bill for students under 6th grade. Yes, there are flaws with their bill (namely no financial backing from the state and only 25% of the restrooms stocked) but still! Wake up and call your Michigan representatives.
