Chess club will be canceled for the rest of the month. Our facilitator Parker shared that his dog has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. We honor that Parker would like to spend as much time caring for her before they cross the rainbow bridge.

We're taking over downtown Port Huron on Sunday June 28th. Blue Water Pride will be held at McMorran Plaza from 1:00-7:00. Our fabulous hostesses for the festivities are Supa Salad and Joseline Side Salad.

🌈 On the eve of Pride Month, one of the world’s largest cathedrals lit itself in rainbow colors. ⛪✨

And honestly, the photos are breathtaking.

The Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City has once again transformed its massive Gothic interior into a glowing rainbow sanctuary as part of its annual Pride celebrations.

Towering stone arches now shine in every color of the LGBTQ+ flag.

But what makes this story stand out is that the lights are only part of it.

Throughout June, the cathedral is hosting Pride-themed events including community gatherings, family picnics, performances by the Q***r Big Apple Corps marching band, LGBTQ+ choral music, Pride Sunday services and a Gay & Sober Welcome Meeting.

For many q***r people, religion has often been associated with rejection.

Which is why images like these hit differently.

Because this is not simply a church tolerating LGBTQ+ people.

It is actively celebrating them.

Inviting them in.

And placing Pride at the center of the space.

The result feels almost surreal.

A building originally designed to inspire awe now glowing with rainbow light for an entirely new generation.

Whether you are religious or not, there is something powerful about seeing one of the world’s most iconic cathedrals openly declare:
