The FA team has been in touch with Selene's owner for the past few years, and just now learned he plans to sell her.

Vote for Ann! Ann Davison of Felicity Ann fame is in the running to be featured on a historical plaque in Plymouth, England -- where she began her record-breaking Atlantic crossing in a wooden sloop built in the area.

For the rest of this month, the Plymouth City Council is asking people to vote online from a list of "fantastic females, both historic and contemporary, all of whom have connections to the city."

From now until the end of Thursday, February 28, you can vote for your favorite. (Scroll down to the end of the webpage page and cast your one vote in the dark grey box.)

The results of the poll will be announced on March 8 to mark International Women’s Day and plaques for the top three will be produced and installed later this year.

Felicity Ann's story received a very warm welcome from the 100+ attendees at this Port Ludlow luncheon. Our storykeeper, Shelly, shared the slideshow at the Bay Club. The monthly event raises money for the Tri-Area Food Bank.

The surprise revealed at this morning's presentation: Felicity Ann's owner from 1970-1980, Phyllis Gottshall, flew up from San Diego to attend the 42nd Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival 2018. It was a thrill to introduce her to the FA fan club here. She kindly shared these photos from the '70s, and filled in some gaps in our knowledge of the post-Ann Davison years.

Proud recipients of a historic preservation award for restoring Felicity Ann, from the Jefferson County Historical Society.

The Community Boat Project shared this award with the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding. A lovely waterside presentation last week, on Aug. 15th.

Day 22, the last day of Felicity Ann's 3-week, 8-port Victory Lap. A bittersweet spinnaker run to Port Hadlock on Friday wraps it up. Thank you to all who made this debut voyage so meaningful and so memorable!
