Amazing news to share!!!

Out of more than 350 applicants nationwide, Port Clinton is one of only 14 recipients for funding from the Active Transportation Infrastructure Improvement Program from the Federal Highway Administration.

This $100,000 grant, supported by City of Port Clinton, the Park District of Ottawa County and Greater Sandusky Partnership, will fund a comprehensive study for a 14-mile segment of the Sandusky Bay Pathway from Sandusky to Port Clinton including the reconstruction of the Sandusky Bay Bridge for pedestrian/cyclist travel.

💬 “The Sandusky Bay Pathway extension is a bold step toward creating a regional trail network that redefines how people experience our region,”
- Jeff Kerr, Director of Planning and Policy at the Greater Sandusky Partnership.

🏞️ Why It Matters:
The Sandusky Bay Pathway will enhance recreation, drive tourism, support workforce access, and strengthen the connections between our vibrant lakeshore communities.
