Let’s celebrate the behind the scenes and in-betweens of Project Morry!🧡💙💚

Between the daily groundskeeping, endless laundry, fresh meals, the behind the scenes work that keeps camp running, and the moments that matter most; comforting a student missing home, helping a first-timer adjust and creating a space where every student feels supported. We are grateful to all of those who make it possible! 🧡

Most of all we are grateful to the families who give us the trust to take care, support and guide their children during their summer away from home and throughout their school year. 💙

Project Morry doesn't end when summer does, the Network Of Support continues throughout the school year, so we will see you soon for our school year meetings! 📚💚

Our Camps That Give Program has over 35 for-profit camps that fundraise on behalf of Project Morry! While some of our camps fundraise at other times during the year, summer is the perfect time to highlight these summer camps' impact! 🧡💙💚

Bootcamp Recap 🎓✨

Our rising seniors, The Gladiators, recently came back to camp for their 3-day, 2-night Bootcamp experience.🧡💙💚

During Bootcamp, we focus on academic workshops such as Mock Admissions Profiles, FAFSA 101, and the Resource Fair. After the academic workshops, we do some fun activities like a college scavenger hunt across camp based on The Amazing Race; Campfire, S'mores/Stargazing, Night Swim, Flashlight Sing, and Movie nights all in The Hub. 🎓

⭐️Huge shoutout to Eric (Senior Director of Post Secondary Success and Alumni from the Navigators) for facilitating this event, preparing our students for future success!🥳

💡Project Morry is a year-round Program and Morry’s Camp is our summer camp component, complete with our own facilities and staff!

Our Project Morry Ambassadors⭐️

Every summer, we select a few of our PG3's to take on a special role for camp, as our Project Morry Ambassadors! Our Ambassadors, Edgar, Ky’re and Emily (Warriors), represent Project Morry by giving our visiting Board and Community members insight on what makes camp special. It gives our Ambassadors a chance to lead and showcase the impact of Project Morry through their eyes. ✨

It's National Nonprofit Day! 🧡💙💚

Today we’re celebrating Project Morry and the mission that keeps our students learning, growing and dreaming all year long. While also celebrating the generosity of our donors, partners, volunteers, and community who help make these opportunities possible. ✨

Project Morry is more than just a summer camp, it's a year-round program dedicated to helping students meet their fullest potential. Throughout the year we focus on academics, mentorships and building the skills students need to thrive. When summer arrives and our students head to camp, the learning continues while still having fun in the sun!🌲⛺️
