Good afternoon Sr. Vice Commander here. On behalf of DAV Chapter 82 I'm happy to report, that we as a chapter could step up and help our veteran community of Veterans Village (transitional housing for homeless veterans )
We delivered some much needed household items. Thank you Veterans Village for all that you do the veterans. It was an honor to meet you and some of the housed veterans and thank them for their service and let them know we are here if ever needed. With their claims and etc.

Memorial Day weekend is a time for family, friends, fun, REMEMBRANCE AND REFLECTION. REFLECT on those that didn't make it home. The ones that signed a blank check to our country up to and including their lives and proved they meant it. This weekend, while you enjoy the incredible freedoms and joys our country has to offer, please offer up a moment of gratitude to those that didn't come home; the ones through the centuries that gave all and secured our ability to enjoy such a beautiful weekend. REMEMBER. MAY YOU NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸🫡❤️💙🤍
