The Port Charlotte Garden Club was organized on October 24, 1957 and federated on October 28, 1958.

Meetings are held September through May on the second Thursday of the month at 9:30am at First Presbyterian Church, 2230 Hariet St, Port Charlotte, Florida (near Midway and Harbor)

NOTE that our FIRST meeting will be on September 17, 2026!
Location: Family Services Center, 21500A Gibralter Dr, Port Charlotte. We gather at 9:30a for coffee and treats with the meeting beginning at 10a.
Our September program will be a presentation by Master Gardener Sanford Miller on Flowering Trees and Shrubs.

Commissioner Deutsch read our Proclamation for National Garden Week in all of Charlotte County for June 7 to 13. All three Charlotte County Garden Clubs were represented- Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Lemon Bay. Port Charlotte Garden Club took beautiful plant arrangements to the newly opened Mid-County library on Forest Nelson Blvd and also the Port Charlotte Library. Other arrangements distributed and brought joy to Solaris Healthcare and Charlotte Bay Rehab!

There will be a proclamation read at the
Commissioners Meeting declaring National Gardening Week. Be there before 9am Tuesday June 9. Wear your name tag and club shirt if you have one. Proclamations are first on the list so we won't be there long. We will take a few photos outside.
