🎉 **WE DID IT! Our Tentative Agreement has been RATIFIED!** 🎉

Our members voted **92% YES** to approve our new contract! 🙌

Thank you to everyone who voted, stayed informed, asked questions, and stood together throughout this process. This victory shows what we can accomplish when we have a strong union voice.

Our work is not done. Under **SB 1296**, we must reach **60% membership by March** to protect our union certification and our ability to negotiate future contracts.

If you are not a member, now is the time to join! Every member makes our voice stronger and helps protect the wages, benefits, and rights we have fought for.

🎉🎉🎉We did it! 🎉🎉🎉

Today, we reached a Tentative Agreement at the bargaining table—and that happened because YOU showed up.

When bargaining began, the District's initial offer was just 1%. Thanks to the strength, unity, and support of everyone who attended our bargaining sessions, we were able to push that offer to 2.5%.

This is proof that when we stand together, our voices make a difference.

Now imagine what we can accomplish next year if we have this same incredible turnout from the very first bargaining session. Let's keep building on this momentum and continue showing the District that support professionals deserve to be heard and respected.

🚨 Today's the Day! 🚨

Today is your chance to stand with your CCSPA bargaining team as we negotiate for the raises and contract that support staff deserve!

This is an interactive bargaining session—you won't just be watching! You'll receive red and green paddles to participate and let the District know how you feel about the proposals being discussed.

Every person in the room sends a message that support staff are united. Whether you're a bus driver, paraprofessional, custodian, administrative assistant, food service worker, maintenance employee, or any other member of our bargaining unit, your presence matters.

If you're able to attend, even for part of the session, please join us and help show the District that we're standing together for fair raises and a strong contract.

What an incredible turnout at bargaining this morning! Seeing so many of our support staff and community standing together sent a powerful message to the District. Every person who showed up made a difference, and we can't thank you enough for taking the time to support our fight for better wages and a stronger contract.

But we're not done yet.

We need you back at the bargaining table Wednesday, July 15, from 1:00-4:00 PM. This session will be more interactive than ever! Members in attendance will receive paddles to show their approval or disapproval in real time as proposals are discussed. Your presence and your voice matter.

The District needs to see that our solidarity wasn't a one-time event. Let's fill the room again and continue showing that support staff are united and won't stop fighting until we secure the contract we deserve.

We hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! While you're enjoying your summer, the CCSPA Bargaining Team wants to update you on where negotiations stand.

The District has proposed only a 1% salary increase for Unit 2 employees.

During insurance negotiations, the District reduced its HSA contribution. A Tentative Agreement was reached to preserve affordable health insurance options, but that reduction represents a real financial loss for many employees.

The bargaining team believes a 1% raise does not adequately offset that loss or recognize the hard work and dedication of our support professionals.

We continue to advocate for compensation that reflects the true value of the essential work you do every day in our schools.

We'll be sending an invite soon for members to discuss this and other matters in person with the board over coffee and doughnuts.

We remain committed to fighting for an agreement that respects and values our members.
