Summer Sailing Camps

Charlotte Harbor Youth sailing offers 9 one week long, full day summer sailing camps. No sailing camp is held the during the 4th of July week. Camps will begin on Monday with a swimming proficiency check and course introduction. Camps consist of a 40 hour US Sailing course, lasting for one week, Mon

day through Friday. (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
US Sailing curriculum is taught by Certified US Sailing Instructors. Camps are limited to 12 students per class. Students 8 - 13 years of age are trained on the Optimist Sailboat. Students 14 - 17 years of age are trained on Lasers and/or Club 420's. The cost for the week covering the 40 hour Sailing Course is $300. Early Bird Specials are offered for registrations well in advance of the Camps. Log onto the Active Kids website for cut off dates for each camp and to register.
