Every dollar raised for polio eradication is matched 2-to-1 by the Gates Foundation, tripling the impact.

Our October dinner meeting had a little bit of everything.
🏌Thank you to Tom Parker of The Back Nine Golf Port Charlotte, FL for sharing how FORE! Golf Ministry program uses golf to connect with and mentor high school students. President Keith Rubin also brought us up to speed on upcoming club events and service opportunities.
🏆Of course, no meeting would be complete without a little fun. Geoff Lorah challenged us with another round of Rotary Magazine trivia, and we wrapped up the evening with 🎶“Happybirthaversary,”🎶celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other special moments in our members’ lives.
A good night of learning, fellowship, laughter and looking ahead to what’s next for the Rotary Club of Harbor Heights/Peace River.

⛳We’re incredibly grateful to the golfers, sponsors, volunteers and community partners who came out to support the Rotary Club of Harbor Heights/Peace River and help us raise funds for our youth service and scholarship programs.
🏆A special thank you to Heritage Landing Golf & Country Club for hosting us and helping make the day such an enjoyable one.
It takes a lot of people working together to make an event like this happen, and we truly appreciate every person and business that played a part.

October is Rotary’s Economic & Community Development Month, and we don’t have to look far to see what that meansWe just wrapped up our four-month Eat Local. Do Good. project, gathering around the tables of locally owned restaurants during “local season.” It was a simple idea: enjoy a meal together while intentionally supporting the businesses that are part of our community.

Economic development doesn’t always require a big project. Sometimes it starts by choosing to spend locally, build relationships and show up for our neighbors.

That’s Rotary in action, right here in Charlotte County. 💙💛
