We are a non-profit youth football and cheer program in the Port Charlotte area for youth ages 5-14 years old.

The Port Charlotte Bandits Football and Cheerleading Program was established in 1988 and continues to inspire young athletes today. The mission of the Port Charlotte Bandits is to enable children to benefit from the participation in team sports, in a safe and structured environment, while maintaining a balance of education, athletics and team work. Through this active participation, the Port Charlotte Bandits programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives. The Port Charlotte Bandits requires all participants to maintain academic standard and is committed to instilling life long standards of teamwork, dedication and a superior work ethic.

Well, Bandit family… if tonight was any indication of how Homecoming Weekend is going to go, we’re in for a GOOD one! 😂🔥

Our 2026 Homecoming Pep Rally was one for the books! We introduced our Homecoming Court, watched our football players, cheerleaders, and coaches battle it out in tug-of-war (RIP to the rope that didn’t survive 🤣💪), and let’s just say… some of our coaches and team moms went home looking a little sweeter than they arrived! 🥧😂

A HUGE thank-you to New Day Christian Church for once again opening your doors and welcoming our Bandit family! With our fields closed from all the rain, you didn’t hesitate to accommodate us and give our athletes and families a place to come together. We are so incredibly grateful for your continued support! ❤️

And to every player, cheerleader, coach, volunteer, and family who showed up tonight — THANK YOU! The energy, the laughter, and the memories made tonight are what being a Bandit is all about!

❤️🖤🏴‍☠️ HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! 🏴‍☠️🖤❤️
We kicked off Homecoming Week with Anything But a Water Bottle Day, and our Bandits definitely understood the assignment! 😂 From the creative to the completely ridiculous, our kids had a blast showing off what they came up with. There’s no better way to start a week full of Bandit pride, fun, and memories as we get ready for HOMECOMING + RIVALRY WEEK! 🏈📣❤️🖤
And while we’re celebrating our Bandit Family, we also have some very special people to thank...

Flag Football season is almost here, and we’re ready for another season packed with football, friends, competition, and FUN!

🏈 Ages: 6U • 8U • 10U • 12U • 14U
💰 Registration: $150
📅 Skills Evaluation: November 22nd, time TBD
🏃 Practices: 1–2 days a week until games begin
🌙 Games: Saturdays in January & February

6 HOURS. ⚡️😂

Six hours sitting in a weight room with a bunch of 10 & 11-year-old football players waiting out a lightning delay.
We now know WAY more about Roblox, Madden and 2K than I ever wanted to know... and I can confirm that after six hours, 10 and 11-year-old football players have a very distinct aroma. 🤢😂

Today’s real test of endurance was for the adults. 🏈⚡️🤣
