Here is a local location asking for donations to go to the Bahamas

Good morning cheesecake lovers! First I would like to say how great our community is.... Last nights meeting I put together last minute was a great turn out and so excited to say we as Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda/North Port have so many resources within our areas and this turn out for the bahamas donations is going to be amazing and just fill my ❤️ with happiness!
Just to fill everyone in we have a couple ppl from the group we have put together as our Hurricane Relief team for our area flying over to bahamas this weekend with a huge donation of medical supplies and to scoop things out and get feel of where we can land and the best area for us to drop donations. Our goal in this is to make sure these supplies get to the smaller areas in need that cant get to locations for help. So we are strongly working and communicating together about 20 local business owners to make sure this happens! There is no clearance at this time for landing in these smaller areas and everything is a day by day basis right now.
I have a Penske 26ft truck being delivered (thanks to C & F Movers) to my shop to load with supplies as this truck will be shipped from Fort Lauderdale Balaeria Caribbean cargos ferry to freeport and abaco at no cost Thanks to a great connection/friend I have that reached out! This truck will leave for Fort Lauderdale on Sept 19th in which I then fly out to go to bahamas personally myself and to assure these supplies arrive and go to the ones in need so that gives us exactly 2 weeks to fill this truck SO PLEASE LETS KEEP THE DONATIONS COMING! Lets make this big and amazing coming from our community... next on bigger bulk items like tents, air mattress, generators, these items we will be taking by plane and boat when we have clearance for landing and safe to dock... as we go along we will keep everyone informed but mean while please please please lets keep the donations coming... thank you all in advanced...
