Quality spay, neuter, and vaccines at a reasonable cost to pet owners, rescues, shelters and feral cat trappers. After years of working in the animal shelter and veterinary industries of southwest Florida, my teammates and I are ready for change! We are tired of watching litters of puppies and kittens get sick and euthanized in shelters. We are tired of hearing about the months long waiting lists

for people who need their pets spayed or neutered. We are ready to be the change we want to see in our community. We are tired of hearing people complain about the outrageous amounts of money they had to pay to get their pet spayed or neutered. We are ready to make a difference and provide our underserved communities with a much needed veterinary service at an affordable price. We want to prevent those unwanted litters from being born in shelters all over our state. We have opened up our Charlotte County clinic that is fully equipped and staffed to perform 40 surgeries a day. This clinic will serve the communities that need us most. There are very limited options for affordable spay neuter in our region of Southwest Florida. Many nearby central Florida counties don't even have a vet clinic at all. We also would like to make an impact in the feral community cat population in our region by performing as many TNVR surgeries as possible. Our goal is to perform 800 surgeries per month serving the following counties in southwest Florida: Sarasota, Charlotte, Manatee, Lee, Hendry, Glades, Desoto, and Highlands.

That small green line placed near the surgical site isn't just for decoration — it's actually a very important part of your pet's medical record. 🐶🐱

The tattoo serves as a permanent visual indicator that your pet has already been spayed or neutered. This can be incredibly helpful if your pet ever ends up at a shelter, rescue, veterinary clinic, or emergency hospital in the future.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ❤️🤍💙

As we spend time with family, friends, and our furry companions this holiday weekend, we are reminded that freedom — and the ability to serve our community doing what we love — is something we never take for granted.

At our clinic, we know pets are family too. So today we’re extra grateful for the moments that matter most:

This is one of the most common questions we hear — and the answer is:
👉 Surgery alone does NOT automatically make pets overweight.

However, after spay or neuter surgery, hormone levels decrease, which can slightly slow your pet’s metabolism and reduce their calorie needs. That means some pets may become more prone to weight gain if they continue eating the same amount while getting less activity. 🐶🐱

The good news?
Keeping your pet at a healthy weight is usually very manageable with:
✔ Balanced portions
✔ Healthy treats in moderation
✔ Regular exercise and playtime
✔ Routine monitoring of weight and body condition

Think of it this way — after surgery, your pet may need a little less food and a few more zoomies. 😉🐾

Maintaining a healthy weight is important because obesity can increase the risk of:
⚠ Joint problems
⚠ Diabetes
⚠ Heart disease
⚠ Reduced lifespan
