tances, to achieve total healing and self- love by nurturing and providing self help programs all while living for two years at the Light House housing facility.. It is our aim for the women to become self sustainable as we prepare them to be able to secure permanent housing ; whether it be stable rental or Habitat for Humanities housing or any other such housing program. The mission of Light House Restoration Home, Inc., is Empowering Women for Excellence through providing a family environment in transitional housing to women to aid those in crisis, homeless, released from incarceration, abused, or fighting an addiction; to achieve total healing and self-love by nurturing and providing self-help programs. Using internal programs geared towards independence, workshops and seminars for budgeting, light vehicle maintenance, resume writing, Interview skills, job placements, basic self defense and life skills will be held, and counseling towards healing will be offered to each woman who participates in the Light House program. Living arrangements at the home can be made for a total 18-24 months stay, with women graduating once staff see a demonstrated growth in their individual program and responsibilities, and the client is able to support herself financially because she is able to maintain employment. Once the women graduate the Light House program and become Women of Excellence, leaving the home to live independently, it is hoped that they will return as mentors and help the remaining women attain their excellence too. After all, Empowering Women for Excellence means to mentor others through trying times and difficult circumstances, all while acting and behaving above board in every stressful instance along the way
