🌟 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: BARB M. 🌟
For nearly 10 years, Barb has faithfully served JLY by sorting donations in our thrift store!
If you’ve ever shopped with us and found a great treasure, there’s a good chance Barb had a hand in getting it there. She takes great care making sure the very best of what comes through our doors makes its way onto the store floor for you to enjoy.
And trust us… donations come in FAST! 😅 Bags, boxes, bins — sometimes it feels like they never stop! It takes special people who can look at the mountain in front of them, not get overwhelmed, and just keep faithfully working. Barb is one of those people. She brings such a peaceful, steady presence to the sorting room and simply gets things done.
But what makes Barb so special to us goes far beyond the donations she sorts. She is an encouragement to the team she serves alongside, a faithful friend, and just an all-around precious part of our JLY family. Her consistency, kindness, and sweet spirit have blessed this ministry for nearly a decade.
Barb, we love you and are so incredibly grateful for the many years you have chosen to serve alongside us. JLY is better because you’re part of it! ❤️
