Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic, including our Pharmacy and Mobile Medical Clinic, will be CLOSED Monday, October 12, 2026, in observance of Columbus Day/Indigenous People's Day.

We will resume normal operations on Tuesday, October 13th at 9 am.

If this is a medical emergency, please call 9-11 or go to your nearest emergency room.

For many uninsured individuals in Charlotte County, the cost of prescription medications can mean choosing between their health and everyday necessities.

At Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic, we're helping change that!

From January through September 2026, our VBA Pharmacy has filled:

8,014 NEW prescriptions

8,744 REFILLS

That's more than 16,000 prescriptions helping our patients manage chronic conditions, improve their health and receive medications they might otherwise go without.

A dedicated and steady presence in our Emergency Department, Dr. Howard is known for stepping up when his team and patients need him most. His leadership, mentorship and commitment to exceptional care have made a meaningful impact on colleagues across the ER.

Most recently, Dr. Howard partnered closely with our nursing team to help achieve several all-time best metrics, an accomplishment that reflects our team’s continued focus on providing timely, high-quality care for our patients.

What an incredible beginning for our 1st Annual GO PINK! Fundraising Luncheon. We are deeply grateful to everyone who showed up, gave generously, shared our mission and helped make the day so meaningful.
