'The objective of this association shall be to cultivate the friendship, fellowship, cooperation, and unity of its members, fire departments, fire companies, exempts, rescue, and ambulance squads. Furthermore, the association is to promote, and encourage the advancement of skills, efficiency, and social activities of its members, and their organizations through involvement, and cooperation with each other.'
