Lighting of the Bridge, Port Barre Lighting of The Bridge is the Town of Port Barre's yearly Christmas event.

Sponsored by the Belle Bienvenue Commitee, this page serves as communication with the public on upcoming events, fundraising, and town improvement projects.

Y’all dont forget to come by our Lighting of the Bridge event today from 2pm-8pm. We will have great vendor booths set up for you to shop with, great music playing, Santa will be joining us, we have a beautiful new display for your pictures with Santa, drinks and hot dogs for sale, free hot chocolate, free popcorn, lighting of our bridge at dark, and a wonderful fireworks show at dark also.

We will also have a kids corner with a game set up, activity books, face tattoos, and letters to Santa.

Come by for a great time and visit with your community.

Vendors can start setting up at 1:00pm if they need so they can be ready to have visitors at 2:00pm.
