We regret to announce that Nightmare on Lake Street has been cancelled this year due to an extended Farmers Market season and scheduling conflicts. But don’t worry! The event will return in the future!

In the meantime, there are a lot of amazing upcoming events this October in Port Austin! Such as Flannel Fest at Bird Creek Farms this Saturday, October 3rd! Followed by a Zombie Crawl at Lake Street Local on October 17th! Then you certainly don’t want to miss the Christmas Market on October 24th at the Port Austin Farmers Market

And of course, Halloween! 🎃 Join us at 5 PM on Saturday, October 31st on the Village Green for the Halloween Costume Parade. Trick-or-Treating will take place from 5:30–7 PM. Make sure to stop by the Welcome Center for the 16th Annual Trick-or-Treat Event put on by the Grindstone General Store and Port Austin Community Players!

It’s going to be a great, fun-filled month in Port Austin! As always, we appreciate your understanding and wish everyone a very happy Spooky Season! 👻🎃

This year’s 2026 Port Austin Girls Weekend was wonderful, and we’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make it so special! 💕🤠

A huge thank you to PAK'S Backyard and their awesome team for hosting Ladies Bingo, along with our amazing Bingo volunteers Dennis Hafeli, Deanna Kidd, and Michelle Servay.

Thank you to our Port Austin Farmers Market vendors and sponsors for their generous Bingo prize donations. Susan Marsh-Hatty for her amazing classes, energy, and contributions to the weekend; and The U&I Club for all of their support.

And, of course, thank you to all of our wonderful local businesses and Chamber members who helped coordinate so many fun events, specials, and activities throughout the weekend. It truly takes a community to make an event like this happen, and you helped make Girls Weekend: Rhinestone Rodeo one to remember!
