For the first time ever, the Titans competed at the UIL Academic State Meet!

Today, Julio Cervantes and Jamor Ragan represented Memorial in Literary Criticism, going head-to-head with the very best students in the entire state.

Although we did not come home with medals, both Julio and Jamor earned personal best scores on the biggest stage. Competing at this level is not for the faint of heart. With over 100 students in the testing room, our Titans held their own and finished only 9 points shy of 6th place.
We are leaving Austin full of Titan pride, with our heads held high and our sights already set on earning another trip to State in 2027.

Congratulations, Julio and Jamor! You made Titan history, and we could not be prouder.

The Titans Literary Criticism Team is REGIONALS BOUND for the 3rd year in a row!

We would like to congratulate the Cast/Crew of this year’s UIL One Act Play Competitive team! They performed the play RUE by Mandy Conner at Lamar University on March 18th..marking MHS first appearance in 6 years⭐️!!!! Our awards are as follows:
