We are a low-income emergency Food Pantry that operates based on generous donations from the community of Port Aransas, Texas. Each week up to 25 volunteers make this possible. We are located behind the Community Presbyterian Church. The Church address is: 113 S. Alister, parking is on Ave A. To qualify for emergency food assistance you will need to fill out and sign form H1555 (legal affidavit) w
hich states you require and are applying for assistance to meet your household food needs. You will be asked to provide your household income and show something that bears both your name and address for Port Aransas. Our pantry serves only the local Port Aransas community and a listed residence cannot be only a PO box. The head of household applying must show something that has your name and current physical address (for example a rent receipt or utility bill)
All residents of the household and their incomes must be added together when applying. Any changes to residency, number of people in the household, or changes to income levels during the year should be communicated to the volunteer when signing in. Only two draws are allowed per month.
