This morning is such a blessing. When John & I road trip I wait to read my Bible out loud in the truck. Today was 1 Peter 3:1-7 to wives and husbands (and also everyone lol - Godly character). I have a book by Chuck Swindoll that gives original Greek and deep context. John asked me to read that out loud too.
Swindoll encouraged us not to be “crotchety husbands and ornery wives.” 😁 After the lesson he challenged us to tell each other 4 qualities we appreciate about each other. My hubby did just that. I had no idea how much I needed to hear it and was in tears. After I got myself together I got to tell him the 4 things about him too.

Some days are heavy like dark clouds around you. And God. He is truth and life and light. His light casts out the darkness! If you are heavy-hearted today, let God breathe His life and His light into you through His Word. 💕 He loves you more than you know!

It takes up a little space in my bag but when I pack for a trip I always bring my Bible. I’m so thankful to get to have fun with my hubby and time each morning in His Word. I’m a mess without time with the Lord! :)
