Eagle Riders Port Angeles #483 Port Angeles Eagle Riders are dedicated to riding motorcycles and raising funds for charities that support vets, kids and pets.

Group meetings are held at the Port Angeles Eagles Club at 11:00 a.m. on most first and third Sundays of each month.

Plans for a memorial ride are in the works. T-Bone’s favorite ride was around Lake Crescent. Details coming soon.

NON RIDERS TAKE NOTE!!!!!
Riders know this, but the general public may not be aware. If you have never been part of a benefit ride you should know at least this:
Bikers PAY to ride. Something they could do for free. But they choose to pay to ride, the fee can be anywhere between $10 to $20 or $30 per person. Not only do they pay to ride, they usually drop a lot of cash for the extras. Raffles, 50/50, and silent auctions, even Toy Runs for kids....
When you see a group ride by, they are probably riding for charity/great causes/benefits! Instead of getting upset because they blocked traffic or caused you a slight delay, please remember this: They are very generous people!!!
Give them space and your patience. It sometimes helps to have a little reminder about things. So please be patient and smile when you see them because they are doing something good for someone you may know, or for a good cause.

It was a great day to ride for the Olympic Angels Foster Care Charity event yesterday. Our Eagle Riders were well represented and the Eagles Club hosted the buffet and fundraising activities afterwards. Go team!

Just a reminder, tomorrow is the last Friday of the month, Bell Ringing to honor local veterans who have passed during the last month. Flag line meets at 12:30 and ceremony starts at 13:00 at Veterans Memorial Park on Lincoln St.

It was an honor for the Eagle Riders of Port Angeles to es**rt the “Wreaths Across America” group today. Riders from the Eagles,Elks,American Legion and others came together alongside the local sheriff’s department and tribal police to es**rt the wreaths to their final destination at Mount Angeles Memorial Park.
A wreath placement ceremony will take place Saturday morning beginning at 09:00.
