With honor and gratitude, Olympic Peninsula Alpaca Rescue founding members Brad McGuire and Greg Winkle—both Navy veterans—and I shared our rescue animals and their fiber with Veterans at the Port Angeles Stand Down today.

Guests enjoyed one-on-one interactions with Kracken, sponsored by Sandy Lawrence, and Ichabod, who is available for sponsorship. We also offered a free fiber arts class where participants created a wet-felted project, made possible through an ArtsWA grant.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped
