The mission of the Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce is to provide services and cultivate an environment where businesses in our region can thrive and connect as a community. The majority of the membership of the Chamber is made up of individuals and businesses within the city limits of Port Angeles, which is a community of just under 20,000. The Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization on the Olympic Peninsula and currently has a membership of just under 500. Meet Leslie Robertson, the force behind one of the Pacific Northwest's most epic cycling events. 🚲

Every August, hundreds of cyclists gather in downtown Port Angeles and ride from sea level all the way up to Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park: a 36-mile round trip with 5,240 feet of climbing, on one of the only days each year the road is free of vehicle traffic.

As Events Manager for Port Angeles Regional Chamber Of Commerce, Leslie has grown Ride the Hurricane into a true sea-to-summit celebration, with thoughtfully curated aid stations, cheering volunteers, and an after-party worth every mile. And through the event's National Park Champion option, riders can give a little extra to support Olympic National Park.

A huge shout-out to our incredible Vendor Coordinator, Priya Jayadev

While everyone enjoyed the festivities, Priya was behind the scenes making sure dozens of vendors were in the right place, answering questions, solving problems, and putting out one fire after another. She kept a smile on her face while logging tens of thousands of steps, working a 10+ hour day, and somehow she kept everything running smoothly.
